49 colours (ack, I know, I know), two and a half hours, Paint Shop Pro using the Furcadia FSH editor palette.

My character Sawyer's new portrait. Now... who wants to give me a space? XD

EDIT: Cleaned up some things, including his hair (thanks for the observation, Emiko :D)

No remap... Furc doesn't remap skintones very well XD Nor can you get the cool palettes and interesting shadows in a remap.

Furcadia is an online RPG, and the image files in-game are FSH files. FSH files can only contain colours from a limited palette (256). I just screencapped the palette and worked in PSP cos it's faster than actually using the FSH editor that comes with the game.
